Innovative sharing concepts will change business travel sustainably
Walldorf/Berlin, January 22, 2019. At the first day of ITB Business Travel Forum, a joint congress format from trade association VDR and ITB Trade Fair, future-oriented sharing and pooling concepts for the business travel market are especially in focus. In his speech on March 6 at 4 pm (ITB, Congress Hall 7.1a, Room New York 1), Jörg Mayer, founder and managing director of CityLoop Travel GmbH, explains why innovative sharing concepts will lead to sustainable differences in terms of business travel and how companies and their employees can take benefit from it.

Founder of 21sportsgroup completes exit
Mannheim, March 14, 2018 Germany: Mannheim-based founder and entrepreneur Jörg Mayer announces his complete exit from successful sporting goods retailer 21sportsgroup (21run, Planet Sports, Vaola). Following his change from operational management to chairman of the advisory board in 2016, he handed over the reins to his management team in mid-2017. Mayer has now sold all of his shares in the company he founded, held by the JM Beteiligungs GmbH family office, to a consortium of prominent investors. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the transaction.

CityLoop is starting trial operations along initial routes
Walldorf, 30 April 2019. Following a well-received launch event at the ITB trade show in Berlin, Germany, entrepreneur Jörg Mayer’s business travel start-up is beginning trial operations of the first ride-sharing service for business travellers on the road as planned. From today, select customers can travel the company’s initial routes, e.g. between the SAP campus in Walldorf and Frankfurt Airport.
